Ed Arvidson is the founder of Coffee & Restaurant Drive-Thru Plans. He is also the principle designer of our drive-thru buildings.

Ed possesses almost 50-years of experience in the foodservice industry. Over those years he has been a restaurant designer, business consultant, industry educator, he's written books, served as a management trainer, corporate food a beverage manager, and store troubleshooter. Ed has also owned his own restaurants, managed stores for major corporations, and during his early years, worked as a bartender, cook, waiter, bus boy, and even a dishwasher. During his 30-years working within the Specialty Coffee Industry, he helped hundreds of entrepreneurs with the planning and opening of their businesses.

It is because of these many years of experience, that Ed possesses a thorough understanding of every aspect of the foodservice business. He is uniquely qualified to understand and design restaurant concepts, menus, and buildings.

Gintas Butkus is Ed's partner in Coffee & Restaurant Drive-Thru Plans. He is a highly-skilled CAD draftsman with over 20-years of experience in creating architectural drawings. Gintas converts Ed's preliminary "pen & ink" layout into a finished CAD floor plan, and he then produces all the other supporting drawings that accompany the design package.
